Deposition written in Bourbon County, KY to the clerk of Adams County Circuit Court, MS; answers (only) to questions said Court asked on May 30, 1825 regarding a slave named Ruben and his owners. These men claim to know the plaintiff, Thomas Parmer, and relate what they know about Ruben entering Kentucky in 1815 and the muddled facts of his ownership since then.
